When comfort and style need to go hand-in-hand, there are few options better than tub dining chairs. Designed with ergonomics firmly in mind, tub chairs gracefully sweep around the backs of diners, creating a cosy and enclosed form of support that leads to better posture and as a result, improved digestive health too! Being such a simplistic construction design, tub chairs naturally lend themselves to flamboyant fabric selections.
Wooden chairs, finished with a luxuriously quilted seat cushions, not only look pretty, they are fantastically comfortable as well, making them ideal for both formal and informal dining. The only aspect to be very careful about is the fabric covering the pads, as it will need to be washable. Nobody wants to deal with pesky pesto stains or tomato marks, long-term and family homes always seem to encounter spills.
Ghost chairs aren’t only pretty, they’re your much needed chairs for a small dining room. Like mirrors, they reflect light and are not heavy to look at. Combine them with an equally gorgeous classical table, white brick walls and white paneled ceiling. Just add in a lovely chandelier, some black and white pictures and everything is perfect.
If you don’t have a separate dining zone, take a look around your home. If the occasion demands, or you just feel like it, why not set up a temporary dining area in an underused space? Position a slimline table in a narrow corridor or hallway. Keep the space fuss-free and bring in furniture from other rooms or use pieces that can be folded away, stacked or moved around at a moment’s notice.
